Bridging the Generation Gap for the Good of the Planet
Profile Picture By Daniel Conrad – University of Wisconsin  | 19 Jul 2010 | 06:21
Change is inherently hard. However, change in the interest of saving the environment should, at least in theory, be easier.

If we want to step up and save the environment, one of the best things we can do is foster collaboration between educators, students and business leaders – in other words encourage cross generational communication and collaboration.

Certainly the environment is a subject in classrooms from kindergarten to college campuses worldwide. Students are already taking the lead, encouraging their parents to become model recyclers. These students are also focusing more than ever on finding a “green” career.

What I look forward to is a comprehensive coming together of the generations focused on saving our planet becoming our new reality.
